Πρός τούς ἐν Εὐρώπῃ διασωθέντας Κυπρίους.
This manuscript, addressed to the Cypriots in Europe who escaped the Turkish massacre on the island, has been attributed to Nikolaos Theseus, a Cypriot who had fought in Greece in the early years of the Greek war of independence. It is an important document for the history of the attempts at the liberation of Cyprus from the Ottoman yoke. The manuscript is most likely a fair copy of the original letter, or perhaps a text intended to be printed as a broadside.
