Reyss und Bilgerfahrt/ zum Heyligen Grab ...
First edition, edited by Melchior Tschudi the younger (1577-?), possibly the grandson of Ludwig Tschudi, almost 100 years after the original journey. Tschudi undertook the pilgrimage from May to December 1519. He travelled with 16 other pilgrims from Switzerland. During his time in Jerusalem, Tschudi was made a knight of the Holy Sepulchre. He landed in Larnaca in July 1519, but he spent a much longer time on the island during his return journey, due to illness among the pilgrims. Tschudi described visits to St Mammas, to the Monastery of Stavrovouni and to Salamis. Cyprus is discussed on p. 338 and following.
