Volume 2
Description

This tremendous work contains many narratives of travels and of accounts collected by Purchas, and it has preserved many records of early voyages now lost. Purchas, who inherited many of the manuscripts of Richard Hakluyt, may have had the manuscripts of these voyages in his possession and subsequently lost them.
