Thank you for visiting our Website which is owned and operated by “Sylvia Ioannou Charitable Foundation” (“SICF”), a Foundation established in Lichtenstein. Please read carefully these Terms of Use because by using this Website you are deemed to have accepted them. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please refrain from accessing this Website. SICF reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use from time to time. The amended text of Terms of Use will be posted in the Website.

1. Copyright of SICF

SICF is the exclusive owner of all copyright, intellectual property and industrial property rights over all the elements of the Website. All such rights are reserved by SICF and are protected by the provisions of Greek copyright laws and international treaties.

Access to any information, archive and element posted on the Website (including but not limited to digitised books, texts, photos, images, video etc.) is permitted only for personal, educational or research purposes. If you write any text (academic or research paper) or you make any public announcement using information from the Website, you must cite the Website as your source.

However, SICF will not be liable if‚ for any reason‚ the Website is unavailable or if the connection is interrupted or faulty. SICF does not guarantee that the Website will be secure. SICF will do everything in its power to secure the quality of information disseminated through the Website. - Acts which violate either the privacy right of a third party (such as the unauthorized disclosure of personal data) or other third-party rights.

- Any unauthorized access or attack to the Website, such as introducing viruses or other malicious material to SICF’s server or electronic systems.

In case the access to the Website is granted only to subscribers or authorized users, SICF reserves the right to cancel access to any user account, if it believes that the user has breached the law and / or the present Terms of Use.

6. Applicable law

These Terms of Use, any amendment thereof and the use of the Website are subject to Greek law. Any claim arising out of the use of the Website shall be brought only before the Courts of Athens, Greece.
