First illustrated edition, and second edition of Wilhelm Xylander’s translation of Strabo’s Geography. Many of the maps were first used in Münster’s editions of Ptolemy’s Geographia, first published by Petri in 1540. The description of Cyprus is in the fourteenth book. The six smaller maps in letterpress depict Cephalonia, Crete, Euboea, Mitylene, Cyprus and Rhodes.
