Description

Gonsales (=Gonsalez, Gonzales, Gonzalez) was a Franciscan priest who made the pilgrimage to the Holy Land from about 1664 to 1670. He was appointed guardian of the Franciscan convent in Bethlehem and later acted as chaplain to the French consul in Cairo, as well as president of the Franciscan hospice in Tripoli, Syria.
