Lettre A Monseigneur Roüillé ...
First edition under this title, uncommon, attributed to Vezien by Barbier. An anonymous work published by Fonseca the same year under the title Nouveau voyage de l’Egypte contains a dedicatory letter to Roüillé. The two works are the same; Vezien’s work also takes the form of a letter to Roüillé. The journey described in this work took place in 1700. Vezien, who may have been a merchant, described an audience in Constantinople with the French ambassador Ferriol.
