First edition, second issue, published as the first of three articles in volume 5 of the Mélanges historiques. The other two articles, concern French history and the Barbary pirates (1585-1586). The first issue of the chronicle of Bustron was apparently published separately in 1884 and then reissued when volume 5 of the Mélanges was completed.
