First edition in French, translated by Zuallart himself, according to the Bibliothèque Nationale. The work is dedicated to Philippe de Mérode, whom Zuallart accompanied to the Holy Land in 1586. The French edition was prepared by Zuallart as a tribute to his friends in the Low Countries. The text on Cyprus occupies pp. 157-181.
