Αn exhibition of rich visual and audio material, screens, maps, Renaissance books, and the use of new technology. The exhibition focused on three of Crete’s cities and their common characteristics: their establishment, their acme, their decline, their destruction, their abandonment, their demise, and their passing into oblivion.

The Sylvia Ioannou Foundation participated in the exhibition by lending publications by Lazius (1558 edition, B.2114), Bordone (1528 edition, B.0861), Münster (1544 edition, B.2008), Porcacchi (1572 edition, B.2184), and Breydenbach (1486 edition, B.0036) from the Collection. All these publications are included in the exhibition catalogue together with Rigas’ Charta of Greece.
