The educational book (in e-book format) Flora Nostra: Using Art to Map the Flora Around Us is divided into two parts, which focus on: edible plants inside and outside of our home gardens; and the palm, a characteristic tree that is featured repeatedly both on Kitchener’s map of Cyprus and on other detailed maps of Nicosia and Limassol. Overall, the Flora Nostra educational proposal offers many possibilities for application in formal primary, secondary and tertiary education, as well as in promoting general informal education. It is based on a flexible methodology that can be used in both urban and rural areas of Cyprus. This e-book is used as a tool of an educational programme.
